1. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Svala.com webshop is maintained by Finnsvala Oy (0764063-3). These terms and conditions shall be applied in the commercial relationship between Finnsvala Oy and its customers. Finnsvala Oy reserves the right to change these terms and conditions unilaterally without prior notice. Orders are subject to the accepted, current terms and conditions at the time of ordering, which appear on the Svala of Finland.com Online Terms and Conditions page.

Finnsvala Oy shall not be liable for damages caused by force majeure. Unforeseeable circumstances or circumstances beyond the control of Finnsvala Oy which cannot be reasonably resolved shall be considered as such obstacles. Finnsvala Oy is obliged to inform the customer of such obstacles as soon as possible.

2. THE CUSTOMER

Finnsvala Oy sells products and services to consumer customers and retailers. The Svala of Finland online store complies with Chapter 6 of the Consumer Protection Act.

When placing an order, the Customer is obliged to disclose such contact information as at least the name, address, telephone number and e-mail address for delivery of the order and order documents. Delivery time estimates are based on the stock situation given by Finnsvala Oy. Finnsvala Oy is not responsible for any delays caused by unforeseen changes, but is obliged to inform the customer as soon as possible.

3. PRIVACY

Customer information is stored in a customer register maintained by Finnsvala Oy, which is used for electronic customer relationship management. 4. PRICES, WARRANTY AND PRODUCTS

Svala.com webshop prices are in euros (€) and include VAT (24%). Product warranty is governed by the product manufacturer’s warranty terms. Product prices and shipping and installation prices are updated periodically in our online store. We also reserve the right to correct / revise prices and product information due to technical and human errors.

The logistical costs of a cancellation will be borne in full by the buyer.

5. PAYMENT METHODS

Online Banking

You can pay with the following online banking codes: Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP-pankki, Säästöpankki, S-pankki and Ålandsbank. Debit card purchase is backed up by a credit card company secure server.

Plastic

In our online shop you can pay with Visa, Visa Electron and MasterCard. Credit card purchase is backed up by a credit card company secured server. We do not provide customer credit card numbers for their service. Required information for credit card payment is credit card number, check number, and expiration date.

For Visa and Mastercard cards, the check number is the last three (3) digits of the number series on the reverse of the card. For debit cards, the check number is usually located on the back of the card after the debit card number.

6. DELIVERY METHODS

Shipping costs  

Shipping costs of € 5.90 for all sizes / deliveries in Finland.

Shipping costs of € 6.90 for all sizes / deliveries in Finland. The final cost of home delivery is determined by the size of the package and the customer’s postal code. You will find the final shipping price in the shopping cart under “Shipping Method”.

The order will be processed the day after the order. After processing, the customer will receive an order confirmation message in their email. Delivery time for stock items is usually 3-7 business days after you submit your order confirmation. The order confirmation will indicate the estimated delivery time.

Receipt of goods

It is the customer’s responsibility to check that the product is intact on receipt. Any packaging damage or defect should be addressed to the shipping company upon receipt of delivery. Defective or defective shipments should be reported immediately to the online store customer service. Notification must be made within 7 days of receipt. Customer Service will agree with the customer on a case-by-case basis to replace defective or defective products.

7. E-SHOP REFUNDS

The customer has the right to return the purchased products within 14 days of receipt. The product to be returned must be unused, flawless and packaged in its original packaging. The sales package must be intact and contain all parts, documents and packaging materials included in the package. If the product to be returned is damaged or its value is significantly impaired, Finnsvala Oy reserves the right to charge the customer the costs of this impairment. Impairment is determined on a case-by-case basis. Finnsvala Oy reserves the right to withhold the cost of returning the product upon refund.

Restrictions on the right of return in accordance with Chapter 6, Section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act: Hygiene and intimate products do not have a right of return after opening the package because the product is not returned for sale due to its nature. Such products include underwear.
