Thanks to a unique knit construction, the loops of our mesh fabric breathe and trap air with outstanding efficiency, so Airbase insulates against both cold and heat. Airbase wicks moisture into the next layers, keeping you dry through a long day.

The sleeveless Airbase is breathable and works, for example, under motorcycle riding gear or work overalls – or you can wear this technical top on its own in warm weather for fishing, sailing and everyday use.

Incredibly comfortable against your skin, Airbase lets you enjoy the pace, the pauses and the changing temperatures. It's a reliable partner for working outdoors, too. In freezing conditions, you can add Svala's merino wool base layer as a mid-layer, and you'll stay warm for sure.

The top is worn next to the skin as a first layer, and should be close-fitting but not too tight.

Airbase's 100% polypropylene yarn is treated to be odor-resistant before it's even spun, so you stay fresh for longer. Airbase doesn't need frequent washing – just air it out after use.

Svala's 3D mesh knit is developed, manufactured and tested in Finland, proven over decades of professional use.

100% polypropylene, silver ionized / antibacterial

Square weight: 120 g/m²

The material is made of a very flexible and skin-friendly silver ionized polypropylene mesh. The loops of the mesh knit store air which then adapts to the body temperature and balances out any variations in the ambient temperature.

Polypropylene does not absorb moisture, but transfers it away from the skin, always keeping it dry. Silver ionization prevents the growth of bacteria, so the garment stays odorless and fresh for longer. The treatment is done to the core of the fiber at the manufacturing stage, so the garment retains its properties throughout its life cycle.

All the seams are flat sewn seams, so the product is comfortable to wear and does not press or rub the skin.

No need to wash before first use.

Wash at 60°C.

We recommend washing in a wash bag to avoid the mesh knit sticking to the zippers/etc of other clothes.

Delivery methods

Products ordered from the Svala.com online store are delivered to the consumer either directly at home or the customer can pick up the products from the available delivery points. If the selected pickup point is full at the time of delivery, the shipment will be redirected to the nearest available pickup point. We deliver products to all mainland Finland.

Exchange and return.

Depending on the delivery method and destination, the shipment will include supplies and instructions for exchange/return. One return shipment per order is free of charge.

If the product is defective, please contact our customer service before returning it.

You have the right to return the product primarily within 30 days of receipt, or after a longer period if separately agreed. There is no right of return if the product has been put into use. Everything except normal familiarization with the product, such as opening the packaging and trying on, is interpreted as using the product. For hygiene reasons, the product must always be tried on over underwear. If the returned product is damaged or dirty during inspection, there is no right to a refund. Finnsvala Oy reserves the right to charge the customer for costs resulting from the decrease in value of the product.

Exchanges and returns are processed when they arrive at our factory. The value of the returned product will be refunded according to the selected payment method. Original shipping costs will not be refunded.
If the product to be exchanged is needed soon, it is advisable to make a return and a new separate order.
