Original Airbase – stay dry, stay comfortable

Original Airbase is a technical 3D mesh knit developed by Svala. It helps your body stay at a comfortable temperature as your pace and the conditions change. When you warm up, it breathes efficiently. When you slow down or the temperature drops, the air trapped in its structure insulates and helps you keep the warmth.

• Moisture away from your skin. The open mesh structure wicks moisture away and lets air circulate.

• Air insulates. Air trapped in the 3D loops forms a light, insulating layer between your skin and your next layer.

• Dries extremely fast. Airbase is made from polypropylene fibre, which absorbs only about 0.03% of its weight in moisture. It holds practically no moisture and instead helps move it towards your next layers, so the knit stays light.

• Silver ions in the fibre itself. They help prevent the growth of odour-causing bacteria. This is not a surface treatment.

• Just 120 g/m². You’ll barely notice it against your skin.
