Nordic Terry Wool – warmth when movement no longer keeps you warm
Nordic Terry Wool is a warm wool terry knit developed by Svala for cold conditions where you move, stop and set off again. It helps you keep the heat your body produces, even when you slow down or stop completely.
- Two surfaces, two jobs. The yarn loops on the inside trap plenty of air, which insulates effectively. The smooth outer surface adds durability and makes it easier to put on your next layer.
- 400 g/m², yet airy. A soft, stretchy knit whose insulation comes largely from air rather than sheer bulk.
- 70% wool, 30% polyamide. Wool provides warmth, softness and natural moisture management. The fibres are blended when the yarn is made, so the abrasion resistance of the polyamide runs evenly through the whole fabric.
- Insulates even when damp. Wool fibre can absorb moisture and keeps its insulating ability even when damp. This matters when you stop in the cold after working up a sweat.
- Wool instead of fleece. A mainly natural-fibre alternative to traditional synthetic fleece, for when you need plenty of warmth without a stiff or heavy feel.
More air. More warmth.
